This digital painting is based on the historical Japanese figures, Rikyu and Hideyoshi inside of the Taian Teahouse. Research was needed to create the inside layout of the teahouse, as well as the two figures.
Because pictures of inside the Taian Teahouse are not currently allowed, I had to use floor plans and very limited photos of the teahouse.
